How it works

For most searches, there is an option to filter results by domain. For example, if you search for a specific image, you can add the domain of the image host and prevent that site from showing up in your results.

SearchFilter also allows you to configure the filtering for search boxes created by Google. For example, you can add the domain of Google and prevent it from showing up in your results. The app also allows you to import filters from external sources such as DuckDuckGo, Bing, and StartPage.

There are different types of filters that can be applied:

Disappear: if you do not want to see a site in the results for any search.

Standout: if you do want to see a site in the results for all searches.

Search this specific URL: for any site that has an URL you know is relevant.
